REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEE
The fee payable per creation entered in a category is as follows:
EARLY BIRD: €150, from 5 April to 16 April 2010
FULL REGISTRATION: €195, from 17 April to 14 May 2010
LAST CHANCE: €225, from 15 May to 21 May 2010
ATTENTION: There will be NO extension of the registration date.
Payment: Online by credit card or Paypal account.
JURY AND DELIBERATION
The international jury will announce its assessments at the end of June.
You will be notified personally if nominated.
You must send 1 specimen of the nominated packaging to Pentawards (Brussels) by 15 July 2010 (2 specimens for the Luxury category).
The Chairman of the jury will validate the jury’s votes upon examining the packaging.
You will be informed personally at the end of July about the Pentawards level won (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Nomination).
Remarks:
If you cannot send the nominated packaging within the time limit, your creation will be disqualified.
Packaging specimens will not be returned unless expressly requested by -- and at the expense of -- the participant.
The winning packaging entries will be exhibited at the DesignPack Gallery (Paris) and at Luxepack Shanghai in 2010.
The names of the winners will remain confidential until the official Pentawards ceremony on 30 September 2010.
OFFICIAL PENTAWARDS CEREMONY
As you will be informed 2 months in advance about the official Pentawards ceremony, you will have plenty of time to organise your trip to Shanghai.
You will receive your prize at the official Pentawards ceremony which will be held on Thursday, 30 September 2010, at 5:00 PM in the exceptional and prestigious setting of the Belgo-European pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010.
- The winner of the Diamond Pentaward will, in addition to the trophy, receive the fabulous EskoArtwork Suite10 software worth €5,000.
- A special Sleever International prize will be given out for the best creation in a Collector’s Limited Edition.
- A special Avery Dennison prize will reward the best creation in the category of Wines, Champagnes and Spirits.
The price for the gala evening (ceremony and dinner) will be announced soon on this site.
We will also provide links for hotel reservations at negotiated prices.
Expo Shanghai 2010 will be an exceptional world event not to be missed.
DISPATCHING OF TROPHIES AND CERTIFICATES
If you are unable to go to Shanghai, your certificates (for the Nominees, Bronze and Silver Pentawards) will be sent to you by post by the end of October.
If you win a Gold, Platinum or Diamond Pentaward, your trophy and its certificate will be sent to you at your expense. You are kindly requested to provide your customer number with the express courier service of your choice.
You may order additional certificates and/or trophies on this site as of October 2010.

The winning creations (not including the nominees) will be published on this site shortly after the announcement of the Pentawards 2010, with a link to the respective sites of the winners.
In the press:
Press releases will be sent to the world press and to the major players in the profession (we have currently more than 11,000 addresses), with numerous echoes in the written press, sites and blogs.
The winning creations will be exhibited at the DesignPack Gallery in Paris.
The winners in the Luxury category will be exhibited at the Luxepack Fair in Shanghai.
In the Taschen Book:
Taschen, the famous art and design book publisher will bring out the first volume on the Pentawards in autumn, featuring the Pentawards 2009 and 2010 (not including nominees) in a 500-page, hardcover edition published in more than 20,000 copies and disseminated throughout the world.
As a Pentaward winner, you will receive a complimentary copy of this reference book.
